左乙拉西坦联合卡马西平对癫痫患者认知功能及脑电图的影响

Effect of levetiracetam combined with carbamazepine on cognitive function and electroencephalogram in patients with epilepsy

目的:探讨癫痫患者采用左乙拉西坦联合卡马西平治疗对其认知功能及脑电图的影响。方法:选取某院收治的106例癫痫患者,按随机双盲法分为对照组和观察组,每组各53例。对照组采用卡马西平治疗,在此基础上,观察组采用左乙拉西坦治疗,连续治疗6个月后,比较2组临床疗效、认知功能、脑电图改善情况及不良反应。结果:观察组总有效率、脑电图改善情况均优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗后,观察组语言智商(VIQ)、总智商(FIQ)、操作智商(PIQ)评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);2组患者不良反应发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:癫痫患者采用左乙拉西坦联合卡马西平治疗有助于改善脑电图,提升临床疗效和认知功能,且安全性较高。

Objective :To investigate the effect of levetiracetam combined with carbamazepine on cognitive function and electroencephalogram in patients with epilepsy. Methods :106 patients with epilepsy admitted to hospital were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 53 cases in each.The control group was given carbamazepine, while the observation group was treated with levetiracetam based on the regime of the control group.6 months afteRthe treatment, clinical efficacy, cognitive function, improvement of electroencephalogram, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results :The total effective rate and improvement of electroencephalogram in the observation group were betteRthan those in the control group( P <0.05).AfteRtreatment, the scores of verbal intelligence quotient (VIQ), full intelligence quotient (FIQ), performance intelligence quotient (PIQ) in the observation group were higheRthan those in the control group ( P <0.05).There was no statistical difference in terms of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups ( P >0.05). Conclusion :Levetiracetam combined with carbamazepine in treatment of patients with epilepsy can improve electroencephalogram, increase clinical efficacy and cognitive function, and can ensure higheRsafety.
