β2 glycoprotein I(β2 GPI)is a plasma protein that binds to negatively charged phospholip-ids. In a pathological state,immune tolerance is disrupted and autoantibodies against β2 GPI,the anti-β2 glyco-protein I antibody(anti-β2 GPI),are produced. A large amount of studies have shown that anti-β2 GPI is closely related to the occurrence,development and prognosis of cerebral infarction. In-depth study of the relationship be-tween the two is of great significance for exploring the mechanism of cerebral infarction and finding new thera-peutic targets. This article provides an overview of the latest developments in the pathogenesis,prognosis,and treatment of anti-β2 GPI-related cerebral infarction and provides new ideals for the prevention and treatment of anti-β2 GPI-related cerebral infarction.
