On the Cultural Relics from Taiwan Collected by the Museum of Anthropology at Xiamen University and Their Research Value

作为大陆高校一所专业性博物馆,厦门大学人类博物馆收藏有不同时期不同地区的各类史前遗物、历史文物及民族学标本等。其中,种类丰富的台湾地区文物是其馆藏的一大特色。这些文物标本大都由人类博物馆创始人林惠祥先生搜集采买于台湾史前遗址及各个原住民族,其携带的丰富文化信息真实地反映了台湾的史前文化及原住民的生产生活及社会文化样貌,具有很高的考古学、历史学、人类学、民族学研究价值。

Being a professional museum in a university in the mainland,the Museum of Anthropology at Xiamen University contains all kinds of collections including prehistorical remains,historical artifacts and ethnological specimens in different periods from different regions,with various collections of cultural relics from Taiwan as its feature.The collections of specimens and artifacts from Taiwan were collected and purchased by the museum′s founder Lin Huixiang from the prehistorical sites and indigenous people in Taiwan.The rich cultural information carried by the collections truthfully reflect both the prehistorical cultures and the production,life and social culture of the indigenous people in Taiwan,which are of great research value in the field of archaeology,history,anthropology and ethnology.
