In order to improve the professional practical ability of the students majoring in teaching biology in local universities,the reform and practice of the training mode is discussed from optimizing curriculum,setting up training platform,reforming and perfecting evaluation mechanism,optimizing teaching staff,strengthening modern information technology application ability and scientific research innovation ability training by taking Nanyang normal university as an example,which could provide new ideas and experience for the training of local normal university students.
