Reading societies,book clubs and other reading organizations,as the backbone of promoting the in-depth development of reading promotion,are favored by reading promotion organizations.This paper makes a deep analysis of CNKI database's publishing characteristics,thematic characteristics and research characteristics of domestic and foreign research literature on reading societies,with a view to providing reference for the study of reading societies.
