21世纪以来,互联网技术迅速发展。在信息化时代,我国教育研究者和改革者们积极利用信息技术完成课程与教学的转型。在此大背景下,慕课成为互联网时代的产物和学术界的研究热点。学术英语的崛起为学生用英语进行专业学习提供了便利,也为英语教学建设提供了方向。二者的有机结合,可以使学术英语的教学理念、教学模式、教学效果更加系统有效。然而,慕课与学术英语相结合,在带来机遇的同时,也带来了不可小觑的挑战。只有客观辩证地认识慕课,并分析研究慕课与学术英语的未来发展趋势,寻找慕课与传统课堂的契合点,才能正确地运用网络技术为学术英语改革创造良机,形成具有中国特色的学术英语模式。

Since the 21st century,Internet technology has developed rapidly.In the information age,Chinese educational researchers and reformers actively use information technology to complete the transformation of curriculums and teaching.Against this background,MOOCs have become a product of the Internet age and the research focus of academia.The rise of English for academic purposes not only facilitates students'professional learning in English,but also provides a direction for the construction of English teaching.The organic combination of the two enables the teaching philosophy,teaching mode and teaching effect of English for academic purposes to be more systematic and effective.However,just as every coin has two sides,there arise huge opportunities from combining MOOCs with academic English,while its corresponding challenges cannot be underestimated.Only by objectively and dialectically understanding MOOCs,analyzing the future trend of MOOCs and English for academic purposes,and looking for the joint of MOOCs and traditional classroom,can we correctly use the network technology to meet the opportunity for the reform of English for academic purposes,and form the mode of English for academic purposes with Chinese characteristics.
