An Exploration of Confusing Usage of Some Verbs Found in English Model Compositions

最近几年,为了提高全国性英语考试中考生的英语写作水平,使其在写作部分获得高分,各大出版社出版了大量的英语作文范文书籍。这对广大考生来说,确实大有裨益。不过,在一些作文范文中,原作者或太注重文章的内容,而忽视了英语中相关词汇和语法的正确用法,造成了表达层面的许许多多错误,其中动词混淆用法比较突出。针对这一问题,我们通过大量实例,分析造成动词混淆用法的原因,并给出相应的正确搭配用法。

In recent years,a multitude of books about English model compositions have been published by a great many publishers in order that students may improve their English writing ability and do well in the writing section in the national English tests.Though these English model compositions are of great benefit to students,they are teeming with mistakes in terms of vocabulary and grammar,especially confusing usage of some commonly used verbs,for the simple reason that the authors may have paid so much attention to the content of the composition that they have neglected the correct usage of the verbs.This paper points out the confusing usage of the verbs,analyzes the reasons for the mistakes and offers the corresponding correct collocation usage by means of large numbers of examples concerned.
