A Study of the Collaborative Network of Humanities and Social Sciences Research Among “Double First-Rate” Universities

"双一流"大学间人文社会科学科研合作网络的研究,对促进"双一流"大学间科研合作具有重要意义。文章在收集我国42所"双一流"大学2000—2017年CSSCI发文数据的基础上,借助社会网络分析等方法,探究了"双一流"大学间人文社会科学科研合作网络的整体特征、个体中心性、核心—边缘结构以及科研合作的领域与学科分布特征,同时基于社会网络视角探讨了影响人文社会科学科研合作的因素。研究认为,我国绝大部分"双一流"大学间人文社会科学建立了科研合作关系;各"双一流"大学在合作网络中扮演着不同的角色,人文社会科学科研实力较强的高校在许多指标上具有明显优势,但在部分指标上优势并不明显,需不断改善;在学科分布上,社会科学比人文科学合作更多,而在具体研究领域,具体、应用性较强的领域往往合作强度更大;学科因素、地域因素、政策因素、历史因素和高校在科研体系中的地位都会影响高校的科研合作。

The study of the collaborative network of humanities and social sciences research among “Double First-rate” universities is of great significance to promote these universities to collaborate on research. On the basis of collecting CSSCI data from 42 “Double First-rate” universities in China from 2000 to 2017, this paper explores the overall characteristics,individual centrality and the core-edge structure of the “Double First-Rate” universities collaborative network of humanities and social sciences research and the fields of the cooperation as well as the disciplinary distribution features with the help of social network analysis and other methods. At the same time, this paper discusses the factors influencing the research cooperation from the perspective of social network. The research shows that most of the “Double First-Rate” universities in China have established scientific research cooperation in the humanities and social sciences;each university plays a different role in the network, universities that are competitive in humanities and social sciences research show obvious advantages in many indicators, but the advantages in some indicators are not clear so that there is a need for continuous improvement;there is more cooperation in social sciences than in humanities when it comes to the distribution of disciplines, while the collaboration is more intensive in specific and more practical fields;the factors of discipline, region, policy, history and the status of universities in the research system will affect their collaboration.
