从译者文化姿态与文学翻译的互动看译者主体性——以林译小说为例

On Translator's Subjectivity from the Perspective of Interaction Between Translator's Cultural Gesture and Literary Translation:A Case Study of Novels Translated by Lin Shu

文学翻译需要译者主体性的发挥,而译者文化姿态影响和制约着译者主体性和翻译的自由度。译者文化姿态和文学翻译实践的关系表明:一方面,译者文化姿态影响译者翻译文本的选择和翻译策略的制定;另一方面,文学翻译实践的深入又丰富并改造译者的文化观念和文化姿态。文章以林译小说为例,从译者文化姿态与文学翻译的互动角度研究译者主体性,揭示译者是如何在主、客观条件制约下发挥"受动中的能动",产生"创造性叛逆"的译作。

The translator’s subjectivity plays an important role in literary translation and the translator’s cultural gesture exerts an influence on the translator’s subjectivity. The interplay between the translator’s cultural gesture and literary translation practice finds that the translator’s cultural gesture influences the choice of original texts and translating strategies. Meanwhile, depth into the practice of translating literary works will enrich and remould the translator’s cultural perceptions and cultural gesture. The translator’s subjectivity, therefore, will be able to be studied from the interaction between the translator’s cultural gesture and the practice of translating literary works, which is key to interpreting the reason of translated works with creative treason under the subjective and objective circumstance. Novels translated by Lin Shu serves as a good case.
