Poverty alleviation in China's new era has arrived at a critical point. It is argued that poverty alleviation summary should be well formulated in addi-tion to specific work. To achieve the end, we should further understandpoverty alleviation and design scientific methods at the top level for the pur-pose of effective implementation. This paper makes a comprehensive expla-nation of poverty alleviation and the significance of its summary. Also, at-tention is paid to systematically designing principles and methods, majorcontents, and application of achievements regarding the summary of povertyalleviation as well as properly handling the relationships concerned. It ishoped that our research can guide poverty alleviation work, experience gar-nering, and theoretical studies.
