老干部是党执政兴国的重要政治基础和政治资源,老干部工作是党的政治工作,做好老干部工作的关键是把政治建设摆在首位。本文强调要从三个方面切实加强老干部队伍政治建设:要精准领会老干部队伍政治建设的科学内涵、地位作用和内容要求。

The retired cadres are an important political foundation and resource for the Party to govern and rejuvenate the country. The management of retired cadres is the political work of the Party. The key to doing a good job in the management of retired cadres is to put political construction in the first place. This article emphasizes the need to strengthen the political construction of retired cadres from three aspects: to accurately understand the scientific connotation, role and requirements of the political construction for retired cadres.
