敦巴顿橡树园会议是第二次世界大战后期一次重要会议,也是中国以四强之一身份参加的一次大会。这次会议主要讨论成立联合国的问题,以顾维钧为代表的中国外交家们在其中积极奔走,贡献才智,为世人留下深刻的印象。但受限于当时中国国力的虚弱、国际环境的不利,以及国民政府决策者自身所呈现的一些主观失误等因素,中国代表团在此次会议中的作用并不突出。

The Dumbarton Oaks Conference was an important meeting at the end of the Second World War a conference attended by China as one of the top four,which focused on the establishment of the United Nations.This conference mainly talked about the foundation of The United Nations.The Chinese diplomats,represented by Gu Wei-jun,have contributed their efforts and talents to the conference,which impressed the world.But limited by the weakness of the national strength,the disadvantage of the diplomatic environment,and some mistakes made by the Chinese Government,they had little influence in this conference.
