思想政治理论课教师是高校学生思想灵魂的工程师,肩负守土尽责、明道铸魂和立德树人的神圣使命,具体表现为坚守社会主义意识形态阵地、弘扬社会主义核心价值观及培养大学生思想道德素质的三维统一。思想政治理论课教师要完成守土尽责的使命,必须以马克思主义中国化最新理论武装头脑,面向社会时政热点问题潜心学术研究;思想政治理论课教师要完成明道铸魂的使命,必须用好教育引导、阐明主流价值观意蕴,讲好价值观故事、增强教学实效,做好榜样示范、传递价值观正向能量;思想政治理论课教师要完成立德树人的使命,必须明道信道,胸怀奋斗之志,不断锤炼专业技能,善用社会实践平台。

Teachers of Ideological and Political Theory Course have the three-dimension mission of holding the position of socialist ideology, advocating the socialist core values and cultivating the ideological and moral quality of university students. To fulfill the first dimension, the teachers must arm themselves with the newest theories in the localized Marxism;to fulfill the second dimension, they must clearly illustrate the connotation of the core values and enhance their teaching effects;and to fulfill the third dimension, they must strive hard, improving their professional skills and taking good advantage of all sorts of platforms of social practice.
