美育背景下西方文学课程设计及教学模式研究

摘要 西方文学是我国高校汉语言文学专业和外国语专业学生的必修课,也是其他学科专业学生的选修课,是大学生了解西方文学和人学发展、领会中西方文化差异、提升其文学鉴赏和思辨能力的重要路径,是高校实施美育工程的重要内容。然而,调查中发现,为适应经济发展需要,大部分高校在文学课程设置方面,学分、课时都缩减了一半以上,严重消解了其在美育中的作用。本文从西方文学课程设计和教学模式等方面探讨了在有限的课时内如何提升教学时效、增强其在美育中的作用等问题。 As a compulsory course for the students majoring in English and in Chinese language and literature, or an optional course for the other majors, the course titled Western Literature is not only an important approach to college aesthetic education but also a way to understanding western literature and humanistic development, realizing differences between Chinese and Western culture as well as improving students' appreciating and critical ability. However, it is found in surveys that most universities have cut in half the credit and class periods of the western literature course when setting curriculum so as to adapt to the social economy development, which results in lessening the role it plays in the aesthetic education. Therefore, this paper makes discussion on the design and pedagogy of western literature course as well as the approaches to improving teaching effect in limited class periods and enhancing its role in the aesthetic education.
