黎运汉教授从事语言学研究60年,在修辞学、语言风格学和语体学领域取得了卓越成果。其语体学理论贡献主要有:从外部和内部因素相互作用的角度认识语体的本质;主张语体学、语言风格学、修辞学分立为独立学科;提出了口语、书卷、电信三足鼎立的分类体系,并对口语体的下位分体进行了较具周延性的划分,将交融语体纳入了语体系统。其语体理论的应用研究主要在语体修辞、公共关系和商务语言运用等方面。

Professor Li Yunhan has been engaged in linguistics research for 60 years and has made great achievements in the fields of rhetoric, language stylistics and stylistics. The main contributions of the genre theory are: understanding the nature of genre from the perspective of the interaction between ENG and internal factors;advocating the separation of genre, linguistic style and rhetoric as independent subjects;proposing the classification of style of oral, written language,and telecommunications. The system, and the subordinate types divided into more gradual divisions, and the blending style is included in the stylistic system. His applied research of genre theory is mainly in the aspects of rhetoric of different styles, two variants of public relations and business language.
