摘要
大数据时代的到来,要求英语语言学习者掌握各种跨学科的技能。我国的英语语言教育也顺应此趋势,不断地进行改革。然而,统计图表英语写作作为参与学术和职业活动的重要技能在英语教学领域并未得到足够的重视。本文将语类教学法和统计图表英语写作教学相结合,希望能在一定程度上引起英语写作教学领域对统计图表英语写作的重视。
With the advent of big data era, second language learners are required to master interdisciplinary skills. In China, second language education has been gradually transforming to follow the trend. However, as a crucial skill in participating both academic and professional activities, graphic writing skills have not been given adequate attention. This paper will focus on a discussion of graphic writing from the perspective of genre-based pedagogy, hoping to attract an increasing number of scholars to engage in the research of graphic writing.
