Taking the water exploration and drainage project of 1205 roadway of Fenxi Yixing Coal Industry Company of Shanxi Coking Coal Mine as an example, this paper analyzed and studied the preparation work, construction process, the end of water exploration and drainage work and the safety of the whole process. It has reference significance for similar conditions of water exploration and drainage works.
