浅谈SNP类专利申请在NCBI、UCSC、ENSEMBL数据库的检索

Research on Retrieval of SNP Patent Application in NCBI, UCSC,ENSEMBL Database

SNP作为分子标记,在生物等众多领域有着重要的研究和推广价值。因此,保护主题涉及SNP的发明专利申请量逐年上升,无论是对于专利审查员还是申请人,如何进行有效的SNP检索都是亟待解决的问题。本文简介了SNP的定义及特点,同时概述了SNP检索常用数据库,最后以具体案例介绍了SNP在NCBI、UCSC、ENSEMBL数据库的检索,以期为相关生物领域SNP专利审查工作和专利申请人提供借鉴。

As a molecular marker, SNP has important research and promotion value in many fields such as biology. Therefore, the number of patent applications for inventions related to SNP is increasing year by year. Whether for patent examiners or applicants, how to carry out effective SNP retrieval is an urgent problem to be solved. This paper briefly introduces the definition and characteristics of SNP, and summarizes the common databases of SNP. Finally, it introduces the retrieval of SNP in NCBI, UCSC and ENSEMBL databases with actual cases, with a view to providing reference for patent examiners or applicants in SNP fields.
