随着社会老龄化不断加剧,越来越多的中老年人开始接受正畸治疗,与青少年不同,中老年患者的骨代谢速率明显降低,甚至患有全身骨代谢疾病,这就意味着中老年人在正畸的过程中面临着更长的治疗周期和更大的牙周风险。如何加速牙移动,减少正畸并发症是每位正畸医生密切关心的问题。甲状旁腺激素是治疗骨质疏松的常用药物,能够改善患者的骨代谢,近年来的研究发现甲状旁腺激素在正畸力诱导下加速牙移动、减少正畸相关牙根吸收和促进牙周组织愈合方面均能发挥积极作用,在中老年患者正畸治疗的过程中展现出光明的应用前景。本文将对甲状旁腺激素应用于正畸治疗的研究进行综述。

With the increasing aging of the society, more and more middle-aged and elderly people begin to accept orthodontic treatment. Different from adolescents, the rate of bone metabolism in middle-aged and elderly patients is significantly decreased, even with systemic bone metabolic diseases, which means that those people face longer treatment period and greater periodontal risk during orthodontic treatment. How to accelerate tooth movement and reduce orthodontic complications is a matter of close concern to every orthodontist. Parathyroid hormone is a commonly used agent for the treatment of osteoporosis, which can improve the bone metabolism of patients. Recent studies have found that parathyroid hormone perform a positive role in speeding teeth movement, promoting periodontal healing and reducing orthodontic root resorption. It shows a bright application prospect during orthodontic treatment in middle-aged and elderly patients. This article will review the application of parathyroid hormone in orthodontics treatment.
