This paper introduces the common lever indicators’ mechanism and principle based on the unavoidable principle error. In this paper, lever indicators, measuring rod length and rotation angle are analyzed and calculated, and error correction coefficient table for measurement in different angles is given, as well as the right usage and some points to be noted are mentioned. Therefore, this paper is highly valuable for improving detection efficiency and measurement accuracy.
