Research Progress in Subjective Evaluation of Lower 1/3 Facial Profile and Its Influencing Factors

正畸面部美观主要通过正貌、侧貌、三维方向进行评价,且对面下1/3侧貌的改善最为显著。侧貌审美方法分为客观评价方法和主观评价方法。临床以改变面部美观为目的的正畸治疗,使主观评价方法在侧貌审美中的运用日益突出。运用主观评价方法(视觉模拟评分法、李克特式评分法等)对彩色图片、黑白图片、侧貌剪影等进行评价时,常因社会身份、性别、年龄、种族及地域等因素的影响而产生审美差异。了解不同人群对侧貌审美的需求,有利于促进美学在正畸治疗中的进一步发展。

Orthodontic facial beauty is mainly evaluated by the frontal,profile and three-dimensional directions,and the most significant improvement can be achieved in the lower 1/3 of the face.The aesthetic methods of profile can be divided into objective evaluation and subjective evaluation.Clinical orthodontic treatment for the purpose of changing facial aesthetics makes the application of subjective evaluation method in the aesthetic of facial profile increasingly prominent.When using subjective evaluation methods(visual analogue score method,Likert score method,etc.) to evaluate color images,blackand-white images,profile silhouette,etc.Aesthetic differences are often caused by different factors such as social identity,gender,age,race and region.Therefore,understanding the aesthetic needs of different groups of people is conducive to the further development of aesthetics in orthodontic treatment.
