古田会议前的重要历史插曲:对白砂会议前后毛泽东与林彪信件往来的考辨

An important historical episode before Gutian Conference:a textual research on the correspondence between Mao Zedong and Lin Biao before and after Baisha Conference

1929年6月14日,毛泽东以给林彪复信的形式,回答了红四军党内争论的一些重大问题。白砂会议前后,林彪给毛泽东写过几封信?信的内容是什么?收入《毛泽东文集》第一卷的这封信是回复林彪的哪封信?由于原始档案的缺失,现有的历史著述对上述问题出现了不同的表述,一种说林彪给毛泽东的信出现在白砂会议前几个小时,毛泽东在会议上公开了这封对朱德充满攻击的信;一种说林彪给毛泽东的信出现在白砂会议结束后的当晚;还有一种是说林彪在会前会后各给毛泽东写过一封信。通过对白砂会议前后基本史实的梳理、考辨,我们不难发现,林彪写给毛泽东的信是在白砂会议结束之后;而当前各种著述所引用的林彪信件,虽内容各异,但大多也出自于同一封信。

On June 14,1929,Mao Zedong answered some important questions debated within the Party of the Fourth Army of the Red Army in a letter to Lin Biao.Before and after the Baisha Conference,how many letters did Lin Biao write to Mao Zedong?What did he say in the letters?The letter in Volume 1 of Mao Zedong’s Anthology is which one in his response to Lin Biao?To this question,the existing historical writings have different representations due to the lack of original archives.One is that Lin Biao’s letter which was full of attacks on Zhu De to Mao appeared hours before the Baisha Conference and was published by Mao Zedong at the conference;One is the letter appeared on the evening after the Baisha Conference;the other is that Lin wrote a letter to Mao before and after the meeting.Through sorting out and discussing the basic historical facts before and after the Baisha Conference,we can easily find that Lin’s letter to Mao was written after the conclusion of the Baisha Conference.Lin Biao’s letters referred in various writings,although the quoted contents vary,is most probably this one.
