Several issues about grounding in substation are introduced. First of all, the algorithm of maximum grounding current is given based on distribution of grounding impedance and short circuit;then the protection grounding grid and equipotential grounding grid with its evaluation standard of corresponding resistance are provided. In the end, the DC grounding and AC grounding system are discussed and the original is same. The above knowledge could provide preference for substation maintenance personnel and substation designet.
