A Textual Study on HUANG Zongxi's Medical Activities

黄宗羲兼习医学,曾为张景岳、赵献可及高斗魁三位浙东名医作传铭。《张景岳传》评价中肯,对后人启发较多。《高旦中墓志铭》则评价失实,遭人诟病。黄宗羲不但为后人留下了难得的医学史料,而且他不迷信怪异、科学求实的思想,对后世医学研究的影响也很深远。

HUANG Zongxi had studied Chinese medicine. He had written some biography and inscription for three renowned doctors,that is ZHANG Jingyue,ZHAO Xianke and GAO Doukui. The article of ZHANG Jingyue biography had received pertinent comments with lots of enlightenment for later scholars. However,in the article of GAO Danzhong inscription,there were negative judgement about being misinformed. Not only HUANG Zongxi had left valuable medical historical materials,but also he made a profound influence for later medicine research for his non-superstitious,practical and realistic ideas.
