Japan's Robot Hotel Lays off Half the Robots

即使是机器人也难保“铁饭碗”。日本的“奇怪酒店”总共有243个机器人,然而其中一半都被解雇了。因为它们工作时制造的问题远比解决的多。酒店方面认为,与其再换一批机器人,不如直接炒就鱼更简单。反正很多工作最终还是得由人类来做,尤其当面对一些复杂问题的时候。

Even robots are having a tough time keeping a job. Japan's "Strange" Hotel has laid off half its 243 robots after they created more problems than they could solve. The hotel decided it was easier to fire them than to replace them. And in the end, a lot of work had to be left for humans anyway, especially when it came to people asking more complex questions.
