摘要
公示语、宣传语是常见的公共场所用语。以往研究更多关注公示语的翻译问题,却忽视了相关话语本身的得体性。该问题关涉整个社会的语言生态环境建设,影响国家或相关政府管理部门的形象构建。本文提出公共场所用语应遵循文明原则、文雅原则和礼貌原则,基于这些原则剖析了一些不得体的公共场所用语,并指出评判公共场所用语的得体性应受其使用环境的影响。
Chinese signs and slogans are common forms of public discourse. Previous studies of public discourses are mostly concerned with their proper translation , but neglect the appropriateness of their design. The problem is related to the construction of the linguistic ecological environment of the whole society, as well as the image building of our country and relevant governing bodies. It is proposed that the appropriateness of public discourses resides in the respect for the principles of etiquette, refinement and politeness. Based on the principles, some inappropriate public discourses are diagnosed , and suggestions are given that the judgment of the appropriateness of a public discourse should depend on its environment of use.
