Taking a concrete project as an example, this paper analyzes the causes of settlement in the construction of high fill subgrade in detail, and then puts forward some preventive measures on the construction settlement, such as doing well the technical disclosure work at the early stage of construction, setting up the temporary drainage system of subgrade, so as to improve the construction quality of subgrade project.
