1978年12月以来,40年的改革开放,中国取得的成就可以说是不胜枚举,表现在各个方面、所有领域。但概括而言,主要取得了两大综合性的成就,一个是我国的落后面貌因此得以彻底改变,另一个就是在制度创新方面中国也取得了巨大成功。40年来,中国之所以取得了一系列巨大成就,是因为选择了适合中国国情的独特发展道路、坚持了市场取向的改革、坚持把经济工作摆在首要位置、中国人民的勤劳奋斗等十个方面的重要因素,这值得我们深入研究与探讨。中国40年改革开放的经验不但体现在上述十大因素上,还在于采取了渐进式方式和根据具体情况管理好改革开放的深度和速度。由于中国的改革开放使其经济实力大幅增强,这样中国就有能力为世界提供更多更好的公共产品和公共服务,为促进全球经济增长和维护世界和平作出中国的重要贡献。

Since December 1978, China has made numerous achievements in all areas during the 40 years of reform and opening up. But in general, it has made two major comprehensive achievements. One is that China’s backward appearance has been completely changed. The other is that China has achieved great success in institutional innovation. Behind the achievements are a variety of reasons, including choosing a unique development path suited to China’s national conditions, adhering to market-oriented reforms,always giving top priority to the economic work, and the hard work of the Chinese people, which are worthy of our in-depth study and discussion. The experience of China’s 40 years of reform and opening up is not only reflected in the above-mentioned reasons,but also in adopting a gradual approach and managing the depth and pace of reform and opening up according to specific conditions.As China’s reform and opening up has greatly enhanced its economic strength, China has the ability to provide the world with more and better public goods and public services, and to make China’s important contribution to promoting global economic growth and safeguarding world peace.
