生物医学期刊英文标题标点符号应用研究

Study on the application of punctuation in the English title of Biomedical Journal

目的国际生物医学学术交流不断扩大,生物医学期刊等出版物的英文规范和要求不断提高,进行生物医学期刊英文标题标点符号应用研究,有利于提高论文写作的科学性、严谨性。方法从英文标点符号的特点入手,结合生物医学期刊英文标题标点符号应用实例,提出生物医学期刊英文标题标点符号应用的基本策略。结果虽然生物医学期刊英文标题标点符号应用情况较少,但是容易被论文作者所忽略。结论规范生物医学期刊英文标题标点符号使用规则,采取针对性的使用策略,是提高生物医学期刊英文标题标点符号应用水平的有效途径。

Objective With the expanding of academic exchanges in the international biomedicine and the unceasingly increase of English standards and requirement by biomedical journal,the study on the application of punctuation in the English title of biomedical journal is beneficial to the improvement of thesis writing.Methods Starting with the characteristics of English punctuation application examples and combining with application examples,this article proposes several basic strategies on the application of punctuation in the English title of biomedical journal.Results Although the application of punctuation in the English title of biomedical journal is rare,it is easily ignored by the authors. Conclusions It is the effective way to improve the application of punctuation in the English title of biomedical journal by normalizing the rules of use and resorting to specific tragedies.
