A Study of Virginia Woolf's Concepts and Practice of Feminine Writing

弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫认为,女人的写作总是女性化的,它不能帮助女性。她的女性写作是建立在男女差异的基础上的。但它不再要求男女平等,或者说女性主义写作的极端女性气质。女性写作比政治女性主义写作微妙,它反对男性的逻辑、客观和线性书写,但不一定是男性的写作。伍尔夫的女性写作有逻辑可循,她按照三个步骤进行写作,意识流写作,身体写作和雌雄同体写作,形成了环状写作的状态。

Virginia Woolf argues that a woman’s writing is always feminine and it cannot help being feminine.Her feminine writing is based on the emphasis of the difference between man and woman.But it no longer demands gender equality or extols extreme femininity as feminist writing does.Subtler than political feminist writing,feminine writing is opposed to the logical,objective and linear masculine writing,but not necessarily man’s writing.Woolf’s feminine writing practice develops progressively.The strategy of her feminine writing is based on sound logic by three steps:stream of consciousness,body writing and androgynous writing.
