摘要
创意经济的兴起对社会阶层的划分产生了深远影响。许多学者强烈感受到现今世界正发生着重大变化,可是,究竟是怎样一种变化,学者们还尚未达成共识。多伦多大学理查德·佛罗里达教授提出"创意阶层"理论,对这个未定的共识进行了旗帜鲜明的回应。持该理论观点的学者还包括芝加哥大学社会学系教授特里·克拉克、哈佛大学爱德华·格莱泽、多伦多大学丹尼尔·西尔等学者。他们认为,工业社会正转入一种创新型的增长模式,即创意成为经济增长与城市发展的主要动力,因此,未来大城市的竞争力体现在——城市作为地方场景特征在吸引高素质人群方面的能力。同时,创意阶层偏爱包容性、多样性和开放性的城市社区文化,吸引创意阶层就需要塑造"城市场景"。因为它是地方质量的体现,也是城市品质提升的核心要素。
The rise of the creative economy has a profound impact on division of social class.Many scholars strongly feel that the world have been undergoing major changes,however,what is a variation,they have yet to reach a consensus."Creative class"theory that put forward by Richard Florida provides an idea.Scholars who hold this view include Terry Clark,professor of sociology at the University of Chicago,Edward Glazer of Harvard University and Daniel Hill of the University of Toronto.In their opinion,creativity become the main engine of economic growth and urban development.Competitiveness is reflected in the big cities-the city as an ability to attract high-quality crowd scenes aspects.Urban leaders need to create"urban scene"to attract creative talent.Because it is the embodiment of local quality,but also the core element of urban quality improvement.
