面子威胁行为理论视阈下电影会话及人物性格研究——以《疯狂原始人》为例

The Study on Dialogues and Personality in Movies From the Perspective of Face Threatening Behavior Theory ——An Example of “The Croods”

面子(face)在人们日常生活中扮演着非常重要的角色。英国学者Brown和Levinson把面子分为积极面子和消极面子两类,基于面子和礼貌等言语交际行为理论提出了面子威胁行为(FTAs)及相关理论。文章以动画电影《疯狂原始人》的会话为语料,从面子威胁行为理论的视阈对会话及人物性格进行分析,探究对话背后的人物性格。研究表明,面子威胁行为的使用有利于通过对话塑造剧中人物的不同性格,从而更好地为观众展现人物性格。

Face plays an important role in our daily life. The British scholar Brown and Levinson divide face into positive and negative parts. Based on face and politeness,face threatening behavior theory is proposed. With the dialogues in “The Croods” as conversation data,the dialogues and characters are analyzed. The results show that face threatening behavior can shape various characters.
