Geological characteristics of Tie Niuping gold deposit, Hefeng County, Hubei Province

鹤峰县铁牛坪金矿点位于八字山背斜北西翼,区内北东向断裂较发育,具明显的多期活动特征,褶皱构造不发育,地质构造复杂程度属简单类型。金矿(化)体主要赋存于沿节理裂隙充填的黄铁矿细脉中,根据已有地质资料初步判定矿床属构造热液型矿床。

TieNiuping gold deposit in Hefeng County is located in the northwest wing of Bazishan anticline. The NEtrending faults in the area are well developed, with obvious multi-stage activity characteristics, undeveloped fold structures and simple geological structure complexity. Gold mineralization bodies mainly occur in pyrite veins filled along joints and fissures. According to the existing geological data, it is preliminarily determined that the deposit belongs to structural hydrothermal type.
