Taking DMG DMC125FD five-axis linkage machine as the research object,combining with practical operation,this paper sorts out the types of some common faults,sums up the general principles of common fault diagnosis,and selects the example of failure where the SP axis can not be clamped. The cause of the failure is found out by disassembling and the solution is put forward.
