回到历史语境中真切认识陈之佛先生的艺术设计之路

A True Understanding of Mr. Chen Zhi-fo’s Way of Art Design in the Historical Context

2019年上半年,《陈之佛全集》(16卷,2017年度国家出版基金重大资助项目)将由南京师范大学出版社出版发行。值此之际,两位参与《陈之佛全集》编撰工作的南京艺术学院研究院夏燕靖教授,复旦大学新闻学院李华强副教授,就陈之佛先生艺术设计专题先后进行了两次深入探讨。夏燕靖教授在对话中对陈之佛先生从事艺术设计事业的历程进行了详尽的史学梳理,发人深省地指出了当前陈之佛研究中所存在的表面化、雷同化的现象,提出要进一步重视史料挖掘整理与探究。李华强博士作为复旦朗读者曾带领大家走进陈之佛研究讲坛,讲述他的研究成果《设计、文化与现代性——陈之佛设计实践研究(1918—1937)》,来帮助大家进一步了解陈之佛的设计实践。这篇对话录的发表,期待学界对陈之佛研究有所推动,值此也是对《陈之佛全集》的出版予以祝贺。

In the first half of 2019,“Complete Works of Chen Zhi-fo”(16 volumes,major subsidized project of the National Publishing Fund in 2017) will be published and distributed nationwide by Nanjing Normal University Press.On this occasion,Professor Xia Yan-jing of Institute of Arts,Nanjing University of Arts and Associate Professor Li Hua-qiang of School of Journalism,Fudan University,who participated in the compilation of the book,made two in-depth discussions on Mr.Chen Zhi-fo’s art design topics.In the discussion,Professor Xia Yan-jing made a detailed historical review of Mr.Chen Zhi-fo’s career in art design,pointed out the superficiality and similarity in the current study of Chen Zhi-fo,and proposed that more attention should be paid to the collation and exploration of historical materials.As a member of Fudan Reader,Li Hua-qiang has once guided people into the research forum of Chen Zhi-fo and introduced his research achievement “Design,Culture and Modernity? Chen Zhi-fo’s Design Practice Research (1918-1937)” to help better understand Chen Zhi-fo’s design practice.The publication of this dialogue is expected to promote the study of Chen Zhi-fo in academic circles,which is also a congratulation to the publication of “Complete Works of Chen Zhi-fo”.
