摘要
通过案例测试对比分析两组大学生的汉译英错误,考察了学生自主应用信息化翻译工具完成翻译任务的实际能力。结合问卷调查和教师访谈,发现大学生在应用信息化翻译工具的过程中存在语言基本功、深度搜索能力、信息化翻译工具知识等3方面不足。高校翻译教学必须更新教学理念、转变教学方式、加大教学投入,有效培养普通大学生的信息化翻译工具应用能力,以满足当代社会翻译实践的人才需求。
In this empirical study,a C-E translation test was carried out among two groups of Chinese college students.The two groups’ errors were contrastively analyzed to assess students’ abilities in applying IT-based translation tools to practical translation tasks. Combined with a correlated questionnaire survey for students and interviews with translation trainers,the study reyeals that salient problems exist among students in language competence,in-depth search skills and systematic knowledge regarding IT-based translation tools. It is rather necessary for universities and colleges at different levels to update teaching ideology,teaching methods and teaching resources,with a view to training brains with a good command of translation techniques and translation technologies as our times demand.
