Taking the construction of one commercial housing project in plot No.29 in Hangzhou as an example, this paper expounds the advantage of applying BIM technology in the construction of old building pile foundation removal and focuses on the effect of BIM software in the determination of obstacle removal scope, the selection of obstacle removal route, and the obstacle removal process management. The successful application of such technology in the construction can provide reference for similar projects.
