摘要
以生物可降解壳聚糖作为反应型乳化剂,充分利用其亲水基团氨基和疏水基团乙酰基的双亲乳化功能,并将其活性基团羟基和氨基作为功能单体参与到苯乙烯丙烯酸丁酯SAE表面施胶剂乳液聚合反应中,充分发挥壳聚糖的自乳化功能,取代合成有机乳化剂,降低传统乳化剂对环境的污染。本实验采用预乳化种子乳液聚合,分别使用传统乳化剂如SDS,OP-10以及反应型乳化剂壳聚糖在相同工艺条件下制备出SAE乳液。通过粒径分析、表观黏度、乳液稳定性以及乳液应用效果来分析比较壳聚糖的乳化性能。研究发现,经壳聚糖聚合反应后的SAE乳液粒径介于SDS与OP-10之间,乳液具有较好的稳定性且施胶后的纸张抗水性能优于传统乳化剂乳化SAE乳液施胶后纸张的抗水性能。研究结论表明,壳聚糖作为反应型乳化剂,具有优异的乳化效果,能够显著改善乳液的抗水性能及稳定性。
Biodegradable chitosan was used as a reactive emulsifier to make full use of the amphiphilic emulsification function of its hydrophilic group,amino group and hydrophobic acetyl group,and its reactive group hydroxyl group and amino group work as functional monomers to participate in the progress of the polymerization reaction.In the emulsion polymerization of SAE,the self-emulsification function of chitosan was fully utilized,with the synthetic organic emulsifier replaced,which reduces the environmental pollution compared with traditional emulsifier.In the experiment,preemulsified seed emulsion polymerization was carried out,and SAE emulsion was prepared under the same process conditions using conventional emulsifiers such as SDS,OP-10 and reactive emulsifier chitosan.The emulsification activity of chitosan was analyzed by particle size analysis,apparent viscosity,emulsion stability,and emulsion application performance.It has found that the particle size of SAE emulsion emulsified with chitosan is between that with SDS and OP-10.At the same time,the emulsion has good stability and the water resistance with paper after sizing,which is better than that of traditional emulsifier SAE emulsion.The research shows that as a reactive emulsifier,chitosan has excellent emulsifying effect and can significantly improve the water resistance and stability of the emulsion.
