长株潭地区交通系统双语化现状分析与对策

On the Current Situation of the Biling Ualization of Traffic System in Chang-Zhu-Tan Region

统一规范的交通双语服务是国际化城市建设的必然要求,而长株潭地区作为全国重点城市群,其交通系统双语服务却未达到应有水平,这一问题理应予以充分关注。以对长株潭地区15个交通站点实地调研获得的第一手资料为语料,发现各站点双语译文存在的典型问题——即因外语水平不足产生的语言错误和因文化差异造成的理解失误,再结合功能对等理论、翻译目的论、跨文化交际理论进行分析与纠错,并针对制作过程、服务过程、社会监督等环节提出可行性建议。

Unified and standard bilingual services in traffic stations are inexorable demands for the establishment of international cities. Chang-Zhu-Tan region, however, fails to offer qualified bilingual services, which deserves attention. With detailed research on bilingual services of traffic stations in the region, this paper makes full use of the fieldwork materials. In the research, some dubious translation due to poor linguistic knowledge and cultural misunderstandings is analyzed based on the theories of Skopos, Functional Equivalence and Intercultural Communication. The paper also offers feasible solutions in production of bilingual signs, staff services and public oversight.
