知识经济时代背景下对于人才的能力及质量要求更加严格,英语能力是现代化经济发展对于人才的基础能力要求,并且成为就业岗位及发展规划中的重要考察因素。本文将简要分析“翻译理论与实践”课程的教学目标及教材选择,并论述英语专业“翻译理论与实践”课程的教学问题,其中包括教学模式、教学计划及师资力量等三个方面,继而提出英语专业“翻译理论与实践”课程的教学改革的主要途径,旨在促进应用型本科院校英语教学质量的提升。

In the context of the era of knowledge economy,the requirements for talents'ability and quality are more stringent.English ability is the basic ability requirement for modern economic development for talents,and it is an important investigation factor in employment positions and development planning.This article will briefly analyze the teaching objectives and teaching materials of the course"Translation Theory and Practice", and discuss the teaching problems of the course "English translation theory and practice",including three aspects:teaching mode,teaching plan and faculty strength.
