摘要
20世纪前半期,梁启超与柳诒徵二人分别对中国历史上"正统"问题进行探讨。梁启超立足于西方"文明史论"对中国传统正统观进行批驳,旨在以"民统"代替"君统"宣传民主;柳诒徵为传统史学辩护,指出正统是中国历史特有且关系重大,对不分良莠批判中国传统文化的风气不以为然。虽然梁、柳二人正统观泾渭分明,但两者正统论的现代化转向存在着一致性。
In the first half of the 20th century,Liang Qichao and Liu Yizheng respectively discussed the issue of “orthodoxy” in Chinese history.Liang Qichao criticized the traditional orthodoxy of China based on the western “theory of history of civilization”,aiming at replacing “monarchy” with “people’s orthodoxy” to propagate democracy;Liu Yizheng defended traditional history,pointing out that orthodoxy is unique and important in Chinese history,and disagreed with the criticism of traditional Chinese culture by bad people.Although Liang and Liu have distinct views of orthodoxy,there is consistency in the modernization of their orthodoxy.
