The Research of Paul Sweezy's Theory of Excess Capital Accumulation

保罗·斯威齐是20世纪著名的马克思主义者,欧美马克思主义经济学的先驱和代表性人物。在《资本主义发展论》与《垄断资本》这两本代表性专著中,斯威齐针对资本主义停滞问题先后提出了消费不足经济危机理论以及垄断资本理论。事实上,在学术生涯晚期,斯威齐还提出了一个"积累过剩"理论,但并未得到学术界的重视。因此,详细论述分析积累过剩理论的整体框架与主要内容,以期填补相关理论的空白,研究结论具有重要的理论价值。

Paul Sweezy is a famous Marx economist and a representative figure of Marx’s economics in Europe and America.In the two representative works of The Theory of Capitalist Development and Monopoly Capital,Sweezy put forward the theory of insufficient consumption and monopoly capital theory in view of the stagnation of capitalism.In fact,in the late academic career,Sweezy also put forward a“excess capital accumulation”theory,which has not received the attention by the academic community.Therefore,this paper discusses and analyzes the overall framework and main content of the theory of excess capital accumulation in detail,in order to fill the gap of relevant theories,which has important theoretical value.
