论江苏古代藏书家的藏书、刻书情怀

Book-collecting and Book-engraving Feelings of Ancient Book Collectors in Jiangsu

江苏藏书事业自古就有悠久的历史,许多文人学士都有藏书的习惯,藏书风气浓厚,藏书家代有闻人。本文从藏书家的聚书、读书、刻书三个方面分别进行阐述:藏书家不惜耗费巨资、孜孜矻矻热衷于聚书、抄书、读书、整理、校勘、著述、刻书,"上以寿作者之精神,下以惠后来之沾溉",拳拳于流传古籍,体现了"传先哲之精蕴、启后学之困蒙"的深深情怀,为后代留下了宝贵的文化典籍,对于今天浮躁的现代人有莫大的启示和激励作用。

Jiangsu has a long history of book collection since ancient times.Many scholars had the habit of collecting books.The atmosphere of collecting books was widespread and book collectors appeared generation by generation.This paper elaborates the book gathering,reading and engraving by the collectors and shows that the collectors gathered,copied,read,collated,wrote and engraved books at the expense of huge sums of money,spreading the spirit of “the author and bestowing their benefit on later generations”.Their enthusiasm on protecting ancient books reflected their deep feelings about passing on the essence of ancient sages and enlightening the later generations”,which have left precious cultural classics for future generations and have great inspirations for today’s impetuous modern people.
