The Lexical Features and Translation Strategies in Machine Vision

机器视觉(Machine Vision)是人工智能快速发展的一个分支,具有非接触、实时性、自动化等特点,在信息化时代正扮演着越来越重要的角色。基于笔者在机器视觉领域的翻译实践,本文结合实例分析该领域英语词汇的构词特征,并探讨了其翻译策略。

Machine Vision, a branch of the booming artificial intelligence, characterized by non-contact, timeliness and automation, is playing an increasingly important role in the age of information. Based on the authors’ translation practice in the field of machine vision, this paper analyzes the word-formation features in this field with concrete examples and discusses its translation strategies, with the aim to provide some reference for the translation on machine vision.
