摘要
测绘学是地球科学的重要组成部分。测绘学勘察与测量技术文本的翻译质量深刻地影响着测绘学的国际交流与学科发展。本文分析了测绘学英语的词汇及句法特点,并分别从词汇和句式层面探讨了翻译标准和翻译策略,力求为测绘学翻译添砖加瓦,贡献薄力。
Geomatics is an important part of Geoscience. The translation quality of surveying and mapping technical texts has a profound impact on the international communication and development of Geomatics. Features of vocabulary and syntax in Geomatics are analyzed in this paper, with an attempt to discuss relative translation standards and strategies.
