The UK has always been an important member of the European Union and has an unspeakable position in the global political and economic situation. Since January 2013,the United Kingdom has proposed to leave the European Union and has experienced many twists and turns. So far,no clear results have been obtained. The "Brexit"behavior in the UK has had a serious impact on the domestic political,economic situation and international trade relations. This article will briefly explain the history and current situation of Brexit,and analyze the economic impact of Brexit in terms of total foreign trade,sterling depreciation effect and international competitiveness.
