Scientists Detect Moving Water on the Moon

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter(月球勘测轨道飞行器,简称LRO)detected water molecules (分子)and the behavior of the moisture over the course of a lunar day. Earth's moon was once assumed to be a dry and dusty place. But scientists discovered ice present near its poles and more recently we've learned that liquid water does exist within the lunar surface material, called regolith (风化层,土被).
