摘要
《大都会》折射出在全球化的时代,资本主义与金融技术相互连接,建构出等级性、政治性、碎片化和专家化的城市空间。城市空间服务资本的增值需求,出现空间资本化的趋势,同时在符号和媒介图像的永恒在场中景观化了。《大都会》的后现代主义叙事技巧呈现了唐·德里罗在文学想象与城市生活互动中的努力。
Metropolis represents the urban space with hierarchy,fragmentation,political affairs and expertise,constructed by the connection of capitalism and financial technology in the globalization era.The urban space serves the demand of capital gain,and has the tendency of being capitalized,and in the meantime is permanently presented with symbols and media.The postmodern narrative techniques of Metropolis are the effort of DeLillo's literary imagination to interact with the city life.
