第二语言写作教师纠正性反馈研究的元分析 被引量:5

摘要 二语写作教学中的教师纠正性反馈及其效果是当今应用语言学研究的热点问题,同时也是一个极具争议性的示范性议题。争议的焦点是教师的纠正性反馈对学习者的语言准确性发展是否有效。要解决这一争议,一是要开展实证性研究,二是对实证研究结果进行再分析,从而检验纠正性反馈的效果。为检验国内二语写作教学中的教师纠正性反馈研究结果的效应,文章依据相关标准收集了国内二语写作教学中教师纠正性反馈的实证研究报告,并对这些报告做了元分析。结果表明,教师纠正性反馈对学习者二语写作语言准确性的发展有积极作用,书面反馈优于口头反馈,反馈效果存在周期效应。在元分析的基础上,作者提出今后二语写作教学中教师纠正性反馈研究值得关注的问题。 Teachers’ corrective feedback and its effect on second language learners’ writing is a hot topic in applied linguistics and a heatedly debated exemplary topic as well.The focus of the debate is whether teachers’ corrective feedback could improve learners’ linguistic accuracy or not.It is necessary to conduct more experimental research and re-analyze the results of the relevant research to address this issue and in the meantime to test the effect of teachers’ corrective feedback.In order to examine the effect size of the research on teachers’ corrective feedback on second language learners’ writing,the authors have collected the research articles on this topic based on strict procedures and made a meta-analysis of the results of these articles.The results indicate that teachers’ corrective feedback has positively affected the learners’ development of linguistic accuracy in writing,written feedback has outperformed the oral feedback and the effect of the feedback is pro-cyclical.This paper also proposes the questions for future research on teachers’ corrective feedback based on the meta-analysis.
