摘要
最近在Netflix上看了一部美国电影Central Intelligence(《乌龙特工》)。
Chinese student Xiao Shang was not an obedient boy in his parents’ and teachers’ eyes when he was a child. He loved singing, drawing and doing sports on the playground with friends. The only thing he didn’t like to do was to study. In the traditional Chinese education system, high marks in exams were unduly emphasized and his shining points were hard to find. He was on a path that was not recognized by the mainstream. At the age of fourteen, he set foot on the land of Canada alone and began a solitary journey of studying abroad. The desolate environment and the conflicts with the host family made him feel uncomfortable and helpless. However, strong support from his parents, sincere help from his professors and deep sympathy from his friends encourage him to struggle in the strange land. He continues to move forward with honor and dreams.
